Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

At Smell Arshè, customer satisfaction is important to us. As fragrances are personal care products, our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy has been designed to ensure fairness for both our customers and our business.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

Order Processing

All orders are processed and dispatched within 3 working days after successful order confirmation.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive shipping confirmation along with tracking details.

 

Return & Exchange Request Period

Customers must contact us within 3 days of receiving their order to request a return, exchange, or report any issue.

Requests received after 3 days from the delivery date will not be accepted.

 

Eligible Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following circumstances:

  • You received the wrong product.
  • The product arrived damaged.
  • The product is leaking due to manufacturing or transit damage.

To process your request, you must provide reasonable proof of the issue. This may include photographs, videos, or any other evidence requested by our support team.

 

Fragrance Preference Exchange

We understand that fragrance is a matter of personal preference. If the fragrance does not meet your expectations, we offer a one-time exchange under the following conditions:

  • The exchange request must be made within 3 days of delivery.
  • The perfume bottle must contain at least 90% of its original contents.
  • The product must be returned with its original box, packaging, and accessories.
  • Only one fragrance exchange is permitted per order.
  • The replacement product cannot be exchanged again for fragrance preference.
  • A ₹80 handling fee (including return logistics and processing) will apply for fragrance preference exchanges.

This exchange is offered as a customer-friendly service and does not indicate that the product is defective.

 

Non-Returnable Products

The following products are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Discovery Sets
  • Products purchased during clearance or special promotional sales (unless received damaged or incorrect)
  • Products damaged due to misuse, improper storage, or accidental handling
  • Products returned without original packaging
  • Products with less than 90% of the original perfume remaining (for fragrance preference exchanges)

 

Return Shipping Charges

If the return is due to:

  • Wrong product received
  • Damaged product
  • Leaking product

Smell Arshè will bear the return shipping cost.

If the exchange is requested because the fragrance did not meet your personal preference:

The customer is responsible for the applicable ₹80 handling fee, which includes return logistics and processing.

 

Inspection & Approval

All returned products are inspected after they are received at our facility.

If the returned product does not meet the eligibility criteria stated in this policy, the request may be declined and the product may be shipped back to the customer.

 

Refund Policy

Refunds are available only for eligible returns that have been approved after inspection.

Once approved:

  • Refunds will be issued via Bank Transfer or UPI.
  • Refunds are processed only after the returned product has been received and successfully inspected.
  • Processing typically takes 5–7 business days, although bank processing times may vary.

 

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only before they have been dispatched.

If your order has not yet been shipped, you may:

  • Cancel your order, or
  • Request a product change before dispatch.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.
